The visiting team went ahead in the 4th minute. Ibrahima Sangare lost the ball and was forced by Lyle Foster to snatch the ball before dragging him into the front of the penalty area and spinning the ball straight into the box. Matt Turner shrank to defend.

The nearby home team took the lead in the 16th minute when Charlie Taylor snatched the ball into their own half and found Taiwo Awoniyi, who quickly grabbed the ball and tapped it short for Callum Hudson-Odoi to hit outside the box, this time by James Trae. Fford makes a tough save to save the Clarets.

Burnley almost cheered as well. In the 29th minute, Luca Koleocho passed the ball to Seki Umdouni, who shot the ball from 25 yards out. The home goalkeeper showed toughness and swept away from danger.

The visitors scored 1-0 in the 41st minute. Luca Coleocho used his speed to dodge the forest defense. Sneaking into the penalty area, Lyle Foster fired a shot and the ball bounced in his favor. Seki Umdouni hit with full force and the ball went into the left side of the net, sharp.

45 minutes out, Nottingham Forest trail Burnley 0-1.

In the second half, 63, Taiwo Awoniyi seemed to use his hands to decorate the ball before touching Callum Hudson-Odoi, spinning the ball in the left penalty area, turning and ducking for a beautiful goal. Even the local football fans were secretly excited about the referee’s VAR check at the offside moment. Before confirming the original words, the jungle returned 1-1.

The visiting team missed out in the 76th minute. Sander Berg, a reserve player, snatched the ball in front of Scott McKenna, slipped into the penalty area on the right, and slammed in to Lyle Foster, who slammed the ball into the net. But the Black Shirts relied on VAR again to clearly indicate that it was the first handball shot.

During 90+5 injury time, Lyle Foster appeared annoyed and elbowed home substitute Ryan Yates in the chest. The referee looked at VAR and directly raised a red card and sent him off the field. At the end of the game, Burnley tied Forest 1-1, with the next match “The Clarets” returning home to face Manchester United, while the “Forests” traveled to the former champions Man City, both on Saturday night.
