Ministry of Tourism and Sports The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) along with Surin province have joined forces to create a new history in the Guinness World Record under the theme “Most people folding fabric animals simultaneously”. Surin, the largest number in the world, 9,010, aiming to present Thai identity through Soft Power of Thailand (5F : F- Fashion), Thai dress culture to the international world. to stimulate tourism in the Northeast at the end of 2022

On November 18, 2022, Surin Province has organized the Surin Elephant Miracle Fair 2022 at the Elephant Show Stadium, Surin Province. The highlight of the event is the activity of folding elephant dolls from local fabrics of Surin Province. On this occasion, the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, TAT, has taken part in coordinating the event. The activity received great attention from both Thai and foreign tourists. A total of 8,745 people participated in the event and achieved the Guinness World Record for “Most people folding fabric animals simultaneously”.
