Antony Blinken, Secretary of State of the United States which is during a trip to China has called on China to provide a level playing field for American workers and businesses. Yesterday (April 25), Blinken traveled to Beijing. after meeting with local officials in Shanghai’s financial district There are more than 1,000 American companies based here. State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said that during Blinken’s meeting with Shanghai Secretary of the Communist Party Chen Jining, Blinken has come out in support of fair treatment for American companies.
“In a constructive and honest exchange. The minister raised concerns about China’s trade policies and non-market economic practices and reiterated that the United States seeks healthy economic competition with China and a level playing field for workers and US companies operating in China,” Miller stated.
After Blinken’s statement came out, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin has come out to respond through reporters that The Chinese side has always carried out economic and trade cooperation based on market principles.
