Apple has cut production of the Vision Pro by more than 300,000 units due to lower demand than expected and the release of a new model in 2025.
Apple cuts production of Vision Pro due to lower-than-expected demand
Ming-Chi Kuo revealed that Apple reduced production of the Vision Pro from the original plan, from the original expectation of ordering 700,000 to 800,000 units.But now it has been reduced to only 4-450,000 units.
Kuo said demand for the Vision Pro in the US “has fallen more sharply than expected” even though Apple plans to sell the Vision Pro in countries outside the US. But on the other hand, Apple expects Vision Pro sales to decline further in 2025.
Apple is reviewing and adjusting production plans for this device. It is not expected that there will be a new version of Vision Pro launched in 2025.
