The Disciplinary Committee punished Chiang Mai FC striker Stenio Jr. after punching Chainat Hornbill defender Clyde O’Connell in the face, banning him from the field for four matches and fining him 113,333 baht.
The Committee for Considering Discipline and Etiquette stated the incident. Between Chiang Mai FC and Chainat Hornbill Club, “After the athletes from both teams went to thank the coaches of each team. While the Chiang Mai FC athletes were walking back to their team’s technical area. There was player number 8, Mr. CLYDE O’CONNELL, Chainat Hornbill team, walking towards player number 18, Mr. STENIO JUNIOR, Chiang Mai FC team, at the side line in the middle of the field. Both athletes were upset with each other. Mr. STENIO JUNIOR, Chiang Mai FC team, punched Mr. CLYDE O’CONNELL, Chainat Hornbill team, in the face 1 time.”

“Athletes and officials from both teams along with security officers went to stop them and a chaotic incident continued in the Chiang Mai FC technical area. After that, Mr. STENIO JUNIOR punched Mr. CLYDE O’CONNELL in the face. For the second time, it caused Mr. CLYDE O’CONNELL to be injured on the left side of his eyebrow.”

1) Punish player number 18, Mr. STENIO JUNIOR, Chiang Mai FC, for committing an offense according to the regulations regarding punishment, Chapter 3, Section 2, Section 1.12 (2), which is a physical assault. causing physical harm to the person being attacked Suspended and banned from entering the field for 4 matches and fined 60,000 baht and the offender must be responsible for medical expenses and compensation as well.
2) Punish player number 18, Mr. STENIO JUNIOR, Chiang Mai FC, for committing an offense according to the regulations regarding punishment, Chapter 3, Section 2, Section 1.5, for destroying property of the competition venue, fined 20,000 baht and compensated for damages according to Estimated price for the injured person
Including a fine of 80,000 baht for both events, but because it was a Thai League 2 football competition, a two-thirds fine was imposed, resulting in a fine of 53,333 baht.
