Revealing the smart city development plan! After 2 years, there are 30 cities. Lampang stands 1st in Smart City development.

The working group jointly considered 4 smart city development plan proposals. There were 2 city proposals that were considered and presented to the Smart City Project Steering and Management Subcommittee, consisting of the Chao Fah Tinicon Valley Project by Phuket Phiwat Company Limited, Phuket Province and Mae Hia Smart City by Mae Hia Municipality Chiang Mai Province

There were 2 proposals agreed in principle and reviewed in detail before bringing them into the working group again, including the Smart City Development Project by Takhli Municipality. Nakhon Sawan Province and Korat Smart City by Nakhon Ratchasima Municipality Nakhon Ratchasima Province

As for the results of the smart city projects that received the symbol for all 30 cities in 2021 – 2023, it was found that the overall progress was 27.57 percent, with a total investment value of 6,842.97 million baht and the city with the highest progress. The first 3 are

1 Mae Mo, a pleasant city, Lampang Province, operated by the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand. Progress is 96.67% from the plan.
2 Khlong Phadung Krung Kasem area by Bangkok Progress was 89.38 percent from the plan.
3 Samyan Smart City Progress was 85.03 percent from the plan.
