Therefore, it is suspected that it is cheating on the scale.

Special Weights and Measures patrol officers searched for more information, planned and inspected a pig buying center in the Ban Tako area, Ban Yang Subdistrict, Mueang District, Buriram Province. The results showed that the actual weight of the 8 pigs totaled 757 kilograms, while the gang that purchased the pigs weighed only 485 kilograms. The weight of the pigs was lost as much as 272 kilograms. The value of the damage that farmers received was as high as nearly 20,000 baht.

A total of 5 suspects were arrested, believed to be the same group that had previously been arrested. All of them confessed to the crime of using their feet to step on and pry at the scale. Such an act is cheating on the scale and is an offense according to the Weights and Measures Act 1999 and its amendments, Section 75/1 (done by any means in order for the accuracy of the weights and measures to be incorrect beyond the margin) must be punished with imprisonment not exceeding 7 years and a fine not exceeding 280,000 baht.
