Songkhla Marine Fisheries Prevention and Suppression Center officials with a total of 10 officers joining in integration with the Songkhla Provincial Fisheries Office Led the Lam Pao Inland Fishery Inspection Boat 13 to work to control and monitor fishing in the Songkhla Lake area, the areas of Sathing Mo Subdistrict, Singhanakhon District, and Ku Tao Subdistrict, Hat Yai District, Songkhla Province.

Two fishermen were arrested for illegally using fishing gear for seine fishing in Songkhla Lake. The contents of the fishing boat included two long-tail engines, one set of seine rods, and three seine bags.

Case 1: On April 24, 2024, 1 fishing boat with heavy seine equipment was arrested, 1 suspect in the area of ​​Songkhla Lake, Sathing Mo Subdistrict, Singha Nakhon District, Songkhla Province, and transported to the investigation team at Singha Police Station. Nakhon, Singha Nakhon District, Songkhla Province, according to Provincial No. 1 at 5:11 a.m., Criminal Case No. 61/2024, Property Account No. 60/2024, dated April 25, 2024.

The second case, on April 25, 2024, arrested 1 fishing boat and equipment, 1 suspect, in the area of ​​Songkhla Lake, Ku Tao Subdistrict, Hat Yai District, Songkhla Province, transported to the investigation officer at Ku Tao Police Station, Dist. Hat Yai, Songkhla Province, according to Provincial Police No. 1 at 6:46 a.m., Criminal Case No. 18/2024, Central Property Account No. 7/2024, dated 25 April 2024.

Such action is a violation of the Fisheries Royal Decree, B.E. 2015 and its amendments, B.E. 2017, Section 67(4), penalties according to Sections 147, 169.
