This makes traveling between districts or between provinces quite difficult. It takes longer to travel than the normal route. The same is true in the case of transferring emergency patients from hospitals with limited capacity in remote areas. Coming to a hospital with higher potential in the city often faces problems. Because normally using a car to transport patients takes a very long time. In some areas, such as Omkoi District, if traveling into Chiang Mai city may take at least 5 hours, resulting in some patients not receiving timely treatment. There is a chance of a crisis. Birth of a disability Or some cases may even lead to death. For this reason, aircraft are used to help emergency patients in such remote areas. The first phase of the Sky Doctor project was sparked by a small group of people in a difficult remote area in Mae Hong Son Province.
