eisa (Education Institute Support Activity) project under Thai Beverage Public Company Limited, one of the projects that support social activities and activities in educational institutions in collaboration with Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) Faculty of Commerce. and accounting and the Faculty of Architecture, Chulalongkorn University in developing processed fish products. In terms of logo development – product packages and marketing planning To attract tourists, increase sales for sustainable development for the community. In which the faculty and students have planned to work together with the managing director of Pracharat Nakhon Nayok Company. The problem was given to students in the class to collect data and solve product development problems efficiently. and produce results that meet the needs of the community

The SIFE (Students in Free Enterprise) congregation is an independent organization first established in 1975 in the United States. There are currently more than 40 member countries around the world. SIFE supports member universities to form student teams to develop community businesses. There are 5 criteria for considering projects: Market Economics, Success Skills, Entrepreneurship. (Entrepreneurship), Financial Literacy, Business Ethics

Most recently, on April 9, 2023, Chulalongkorn University’s eisa and assembly (SIFE) project actually went to present the design through Logo & Packaging innovation by students from the Faculty of Architecture. Including online marketing planning, focusing on promoting online sales channels via Line official together with the community at the processed fish enterprise group, Thong Lang Sub-district, Nakhon Nayok Province.

Reminisce, philanthropy with packaging that has been improved to be more tangible

Ramphueng Jaiboon, leader of a community enterprise group and a local philosopher People with local wisdom in agriculture and livelihood in food and nutrition. Chulalongkorn University students said “I’m delighted that the children Let’s help lighten and help solve the problem of modifying the product logo. And help expand the market, try real sales, improve the material to be more tangible. There is a conversation via Zoom system, creating perspectives including the situation of fermented fish production that has improved the color, smell, taste, adding from the old wisdom. Many households who participated in the test accepted the improvement. including obtaining knowledge and information resulting in a new product.”

Tee Pongpolpraiwan

Tee Pongpolpraiwan, BBA-Accounting Program Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, Chulalongkorn University Said as the leader of the student team in managing this work that We mainly focus on marketing, whether it’s about logos. Regarding the slogan and packaging, we have 18 logos for the community to choose from. What we didn’t expect was that we launched two new types of products in public places, namely Kiat Bamrung Market and Khun Dan Prakarn Chon Dam Market. which exceeded expectations, received a good response, tourists and people in the community were interested in buying processed Prara and chilli paste sold out very quickly, which made us feel encouraged for this dedication.”

Lecturer Dr. Sawitree Boonphatcharanont

As for the advisor to the SIFE assembly, Dr. Sawitree Boonphatcharanont, lecturer at the Department of Statistics, Chulalongkorn University, commented that Today, in addition to the front of the house, we bring the logo design and packaging for the community to participate in expressing their opinions and choosing the design according to their preferences, including online marketing. We will also come to build the back of the house as we see that the business can be sustained in the future. We think online marketing home page is not enough. Students will come to give advice on costing, which must see if today what the community sells has set a reasonable price or not. If we adjust the packaging, we have new products. Will we have to adjust the cost in order for the community to continue to live sustainably?”
